Remember Dick White?

Saw this Obit in today's Conway Daily Sun. If this is the Dick White I think it is, he ran White's Restaurant in downtown Wolfeboro, which was located where the Wolfeboro Diner is now. Any other old timers remember Dick?

I read of a "Wolfeboro Diner" account from the early 50s. ???

"White's" Restaurant was in the 60s, until it later became "Mast Landing". Today, it's the "Wolfeborough Diner", but I don't know if it's the same as that "Wolfeboro Diner" mentioned from the 50s.

"White" is a very common name: We had a suspect house-burglar near me with the name "Bobby White". His 50s Chevy got stuck in a steep driveway to a seasonal cottge—where it didn't belong.

A Police Chief of the same name (and the same number of "passed" years—coincidentally) retired from Conway just a few years ago!

Despite other theories to the contrary, it was verified today that the deceased was indeed the proprietor of the former White's Restaurant in downtown Wolfeboro.
