Opting out of phone books

This reminds me of a Seinfeld episode which had Kramer bricking over his mailbox to try and opt out of mail, but I'd like to never receive another phone book again. Is that possible? I can't find anything on Verizon's site with a link to "call us and we'll never send you another phone book" or anything like that.

I can't remember the last time I actually opened a phone book to look for anything.
